Local Networks

The Sustainable Business Networks (SBNs) are the forward facing business support system run by the SBP. The partnership is currently running five local networks across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in Winchester, Portsmouth, the New Forest, North Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Local quarterly network meetings bring together engaged and like-minded businesses in an informal setting to consider a different sustainability issue each time. Past meeting themes have included Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Transport, Energy, Marketing yourself as a Sustainable Business, Sustainable Procurement, Staff Engagement and many more.

Free morning events combine high-quality presentations from experts within the field, a practical workshop element and of course all of the valuable networking opportunities you would expect from such a group.

Network members also receive a monthly e-mag with news from the sector, information from the SBP and events listings. They also have access to a SBN helpline, a comprehensive website and discounted environmental training.

Membership of the Network is entirely free, to join your local network please ring us on 01962 845591

Please click here to view all meeting notes, presentation notes and slides from past Sustainable Business Network areas. Combined these presentations cover a wide and continually growing range of issues including waste, green marketing, energy management, carbon footprinting, social sustainability and much more…

Beyond the Networks… The SBP understakes a wide range of additional activities taking advantage of its extensive partnership contacts and insight into both public and private sector perspectives on the issue of sustainable business.
