The Isle of Wight Sustainable Business Network aims to provide free support and advice on a wide range of sustainability issues and opportunities specifically to Isle of Wight businesses. It has been developed in partnership and in consultation with a number of organisations including the Council, Chamber of Commerce, Business Link and Island-based businesses.

In the current economic climate, the value of sustainability activity has never been greater. Businesses can make real and significant bottom-line savings by reducing their energy consumption, cutting waste, responding to customer demands to improve environmental performance and minimising transport impacts, to name but a few examples.

We will be delivering a series of themed quarterly Network meetings where businesses can come together, learn from expert speakers drawn from across the SBP, find out what other businesses are doing and apply lessons learned to their own organisations through tailored workshops. Meetings are half-day and finish promptly at 12.00 to allow delegates to return to their businesses, although many prefer to stay on and network.

All IoW SBN members are able to benefit from the wider support services of the SBP, including direct and telephone support, access to resources, training services and more. All of the SBP’s services are entirely free and carry no obligation.
