Discounted IEMA recognised Lead Environmental Auditor training for SBP members
The Sustainable Business Partnership is planning to hold some lead environmental auditor training over the next few months in the Winchester area. The training is being offered at a significant discount for SBP members, the final cost will be approximately £800, instead of closer to £1100/£1200 if the training was gained privately.
The course consists of 5 training days, venue tbc, and at the end of it candidates will be able to:
· Describe the purpose of an environmental management system.
· Explain the scope EMS standards and, where applicable, other criteria against which an EMS audit could be performed.
· Describe the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment of risk and the significance of these in all environmental management systems.
· Interpret the requirements of the ISO 14001 management systems specification in the context of an audit .
· Effectively plan and conduct an audit of the management and operation of an organisation in accordance with the requirements of relevant EMS audit criteria and ISO 19011 .
· Report the audit, including writing valid, factual and value-adding nonconformity reports.
· Undertake audit follow-up activities, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action.

Enviroskills Training Course
The SBP have teamed up with Olive to offer their new IEMA Environmental Data Management course at a discounted rate for ALL SBP members.
Managing environmental data is key to ensuring legal compliance, meeting reporting requirements and even identifying opportunities for savings. This 1 day course will cover the principles of good data management and how to gather and report on environmental data in practice. Workshop sessions throughout the day will relate back to implementing data management within your own workplace and include practical examples of how to collate; convert; benchmark; normalise; extrapolate and report on your environmental data.
After attending this course delegates will be able to:
1. Identify key drivers for environmental data management
2. Apply the key principles of good data management to their own workplace
3. Identify, collect and analyse quality environmental data for their organisation
4. Interpret and explain data analysis and extrapolation assumptions
5. Implement a practical data management programme within their own workplace
6. Describe how data can be utilised as part of their organisation’s environmental and business reporting
Eligible SME delegates pay just £50(+VAT) per person and non-eligible delegates pay just £80(+VAT) per person. This is a significant reduction on the standard open course cost of £200(+VAT) per person.

There are a wealth of training courses available to businesses across the South East.
